Building Centre Products

We source alot of Trucks & Equipment for our Building Centre Customers, here are the most common products we saw in 2024
F150 (3)

Light-Duty Pickup Trucks

These vehicles are essential for sales, site visits, and quick-response small deliveries. They serve as the primary transportation for sales representatives, store managers, and delivery coordination staff, allowing them to visit contractor job sites, estimate orders, and make fast, smaller-scale customer or service deliveries that don't require a large commercial truck.

  • Common Models:

    • Ford F-150 (or F-250 for light commercial use)

    • RAM 1500 (or 2500)

    • Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Medium Duty Pickup Trucks

Medium Duty Pickup Trucks

Heavy-duty Class 5 chassis cabs are built for commercial hauling, featuring strong frames, dual rear wheels, and a GVWR up to 19,500 lbs. They can be equipped with flatbeds or dump bodies to deliver heavy materials like shingles, drywall, or lumber in one trip, improving efficiency and reducing downtime for construction operations.

  • Common Models:

    • Ford F550

    • Ram 5500

    • GMC Sierra 5500

Lumber Trucks

Flatbed/Lumber Trucks

These are the workhorses for lumber and large material delivery to construction sites. Their open-deck design and long bed lengths are specifically suited for transporting dimensional lumber, sheet goods (plywood, drywall), trusses, and other oversized building materials that must be loaded and unloaded from the side or top, often by a forklift or specialized crane.

  • Common Models:

    • Kenworth T370 or T440

    • Peterbilt 348

    • Freightliner M2 108

Crane Trucks

Boom Trucks / Crane Trucks

Equipped with a hydraulic crane mounted behind the cab, boom trucks are critical for "rooftop" or high-elevation deliveries of shingles, drywall, trusses, and engineered lumber. They enable the building center to place materials directly where a contractor needs them, minimizing manual labor and greatly increasing job site efficiency.

  • Common Models:

    • Kenworth T480

    • Western Star 4700

    • International HV Series

Forklifts

Forklifts

Forklifts are the most vital material handling equipment for internal operations and loading. They are indispensable for unloading incoming freight from suppliers, stocking high racks in the warehouse, organizing the outdoor lumber yard, and quickly loading customer and delivery trucks with palletized goods and heavy items.

  • Common Models:

    • Moffett M8 55.3

    • Manitou TMT 55 X

    • Princeton PB55+

Cube Vans

Cube Vans

These enclosed vehicles are primarily used for secure delivery of high-value, weather-sensitive, or palletized finished goods. They are ideal for transporting windows, doors, cabinetry, appliances, flooring, and paint, protecting the products from theft and Canadian weather elements during transit to the store or a customer’s location.

  • Common Models:

    • Ford E-Series Cutaway

    • Hino 195

    • Isuzu NPR

Ford 750

Heavy Duty Pickup Trucks

These trucks transport and dump bulk materials such as gravel, sand, aggregates, and topsoil. Building centers sell these materials to contractors for site preparation, landscaping, and foundation work, making the dump truck a necessary asset for servicing customers who require materials by the cubic yard.

  • Common Models:

    • Ford F-650/F-750

    • International MV Series

    • Kenworth T880

Kargo King

Kargo King Roll-Off System

Truck-mounted detachable body solution that maximizes fleet efficiency and safety, making it ideal for building and equipment supply. The Kargo King uses a hydraulic roll-off mechanism to quickly drop one custom body at ground level and pick up a different pre-loaded body in approximately 60 seconds. This allows a single, high-capacity chassis cab (like the F-550) to fulfill the roles of multiple trucks.

- reducing fleet capital expenditure

- Reduces maintenance costs & insurance

- Safer ground-level material handling

- Eliminate expensive truck idling time.
