F150 (3)

Ford F150

Essential for sales, site visits, and quick-response small deliveries. They serve as the primary transportation for sales representatives, store managers, and delivery coordination staff, allowing them to visit contractor job sites, estimate orders, and make fast, smaller-scale customer or service deliveries that don't require a large commercial truck.

Ford F550 Flatbed

Heavy-duty Class 5 chassis cabs are built for commercial hauling, featuring strong frames, dual rear wheels, and a GVWR up to 19,500 lbs. Ford Cubevan

These enclosed vehicles are primarily used for secure delivery of high-value, weather-sensitive, or palletized finished goods. They are ideal for transporting windows, doors, cabinetry, appliances, flooring, and paint, protecting the products from theft and Canadian weather elements during transit to the store or a customer’s location.

The Home Hardware Truck Program Timeline

Over 15 years in the making, our partnership with Home Hardware and local dealers have taken a great idea into a fantastic partnership!

The Call That Started It All (2008)

Home Hardware Corporate called me about a used truck we had advertised. That single call changed everything. Home Hardware was trying to help one of their store owners in Quebec source a truck — something that, at the time, was harder than it should have been for stores in smaller towns. After that first sale, I was invited to meet CEO, Paul Straus.

Building a National Fleet Program (2009–2013)

We partnered with major truck manufacturers to establish national fleet purchasing for Home Hardware, giving stores access to volume discounts and priority availability. Over time, we developed a Canada-wide network with leading truck and body manufacturers, delivering consistent vehicle specifications, reliable upfitting, and significant cost savings for store owners nationwide.

Today's State of the Home Hardware Program (2025)

We have grown the program across the country, having delivered truck to 335 Home Hardware Retail and Building Centres to date. Our fleet programs have continued to grow and we're constantly looking for new manufacturers that want to participate in the program.

What Makes the Program Unique

One Door to Knock On

You call us. We quote, source, finance, upfit, deliver. No phone tag between three different dealers and two body vendors.

Standardized, Proven Specs

Cube vans, F-550 flatbeds, roll-offs, boom chassis—we reuse the same winning spec across OEMs. Your drivers know what they’re getting. Your maintenance team knows what’s under it.

Expert Follow-Through

We don’t disappear after the PO. We coordinate paint, caps, cranes, bodies, plates, and delivery dates—and we check back in so your next order takes minutes, not weeks.

Program-First, Not Retail-First

We treat you like a fleet, even if you’re buying one truck. Standard specs, priority allocation, and true turnkey upfitting—one call, one invoice, no runaround.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s in it for me — how does this program actually save my store money or time?
  • You get fleet-level pricing normally reserved for national buyers.

  • Standardized, proven truck specs reduce downtime and simplify service.

  • Priority factory allocation means faster delivery — no 6–8 month waits.

  • Turnkey handling of financing, upfitting, and logistics means one call, one invoice, done.

How is this different from just buying through my local dealer?
  • Local dealers quote retail; Trinity works on national fleet numbers.

  • You’re not stuck explaining your business every time — we already know how Home Hardware stores operate.

  • We handle paint, decals, cranes, and bodies in one step, which local dealers typically don’t touch.

  • You’re dealing with people who’ve supported Home Hardware stores for over 15 years — not a rotating sales desk.

How do I get started — what’s the process?
  • Tell us what you haul and where you haul it. (Drywall, roofing, lumber, etc.)

  • We match you with a proven spec and quote at the fleet rate, including paint and body options.

  • You approve it — we handle the rest. Financing, build, and delivery to your store or job site.
